Habe jetzt ein bisschen rumgespielt und ich bin voll zufrieden mit der Qualität des Synthesizer. Klanglich sowieso Spitze in Version 3.0. Die Anbindung am PC scheint jetzt auch kein Problem mehr zu sein (nicht so beim Opsix). Der zusätzliche AT macht schon sehr viel aus und spricht sehr gut an. Die Tastatur ist optimal abgestimmt. Wie schon beim Korg Prologue ist der Opsix auch 'Made in Japan' und das merkt man. Nur schade, hat man den Platz nicht optimal genutzt, da hätte man auf der leeren Oberfläche noch viele Knöpfe und Fader anbringen können um die Bedienung noch einfacher gestalten zu können. Auch das sehr kleine Display ladet nicht gerade zum sounddessinen ein. Aber das spielen mach alles wieder wett.    

Opsix SE - DX 7 Revival

Alors là je n’en reviens pas !
En 1987 j’ai acheté un DX7 d’occasion et je me suis passionné pour la synthèse FM et j’ai adoré les sons et la différence qu’ils amenaient dans le monde sonore d’alors. Mais la FM numérique était horriblement compliquée à manipuler, ce qui ne m’a toutefois pas empêché plus tard de craquer pour un SY 88 (AFM) et finalement pour le Montage 6 (FMX). Mais malheureusement cette synthèse restait extrêmement difficile à bidouiller.
Puis Korg a sorti l’Opsix !

Cette fois la synthèse FM est ultra accessible, L’accès aux opérateurs est dégagé, on peut varier en direct leur volume, leurs harmoniques et le feed-back. C’est brillant ! Et de nouvelles fonctions sont ajoutées aux opérateurs comme le plieur d’ondes et la ringmodulation: Cela ouvre en plus de toute nouvelles possibilités ( dont des nappes soyeuses ). Cela n’est pas un petit synthétiseur qui rappelle le DX7 (comme d’ailleurs Yamaha a sorti en Reface), mais une sorte de super DX7 mégapuissant !

La façade avant possède 6 potentiomètres assignables qui donne l’accès à toutes les étapes de la synthèse comme sur les nouveaux synthétiseur analogiques qui se respectent. Le son est magnifique et précis et ce qui ne gâche rien et l’adjonction d’un arpégiateur et d’un séquenceur à pas.
Le processeur d’effet finit d’honorer le son prestigieux produit par l’ensemble: Des effets magnifiques comme Korg nous a habitué, dont des simulations d’amplis.
Si vous aimez la saveur si particulière de la FM, courez !
