Mein Traum ist in Erfüllung gegangen. Seit ich den Keyboarder von „Feist“ mit dem UDO Super 6 auf der Bühne gehört habe, hat mich der Gedanke nicht mehr losgelassen. Irgendwann musste ich den Synthesizer kaufen. Und ich bin begeistert! Ein unglaublich transparenter, lebendiger Sound mit einer Dynamik spielbar, die ich von anderen Instrumenten nicht kenne. Und der binaurale Modus ist nicht einfach ein Breitmacher, sondern ein erweitertes Stereobild mit faszinierender Tiefe und Räumlichkeit. Die Oszillatoren klingen unglaublich gut und es ist eine Wonne die einwandfrei verarbeiteten Regler und Potis zu bedienen. Ich habe so viele Möglichkeiten, um den Sound so zu gestalten, dass er immer organisch und lebendig wirkt, ich würde sagen, richtig analog. Auch ohne Reverb hat er seinen eigenen Charakter und das integrierte Delay kann den Sound schon sehr gut räumlich klingen lassen. Ich verbinde den Super 6 nun mit dem Strymon Big Sky. Die Kombination bewegt sich klanglich auf höchstem Niveau und erweitert das Spektrum nochmals um ein Vielfaches!
