The set naturally includes Triops eggs from laboratory breeding, a basin with a separate rearing station and sufficient special feed, as well as fine sand that the Triops need to lay their eggs in. With a little skill and fresh water, entire generations of crabs can be bred. The Triops eggs in the Kosmos sets come exclusively from controlled laboratory breeding and are not taken from nature.
