I've been using it since June, and so far, there's been no measurable difference. The bags are still completely full and haven't dried out. Honestly, it seems like this is simply a placebo effect.
After a serious crack in my guitar during the winter of 2012-2013, I chose to use a Humidipak, even for my electric guitar (I have sometimes achieved relative humidity levels below 20%). It works perfectly, and all my guitars are now perfectly humidified!
