Playability
The KeyStep mk2 features a 32-button dynamic slimkey keyboard and aftertouch for expressive control in the smallest space. Pitch and mod strips enable intuitive real-time controls, while the built-in chord and scale modes encourage the discovery of new musical phrases.
Idea machine
KeyStep mk2 is as much a generative idea factory as a controller, combining the polyphonic step-sequencer, the 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern-chaining and creative tools such as mutates. Use the arpeggiator to create a reef, convert it into a sequence and transform it! Use “mutates” to spontaneously hear new variations, try another octave, adjust the note lengths, add breaks, overlay extra notes, record bend and wheel automations – let your ideas continue to evolve.

Hardware connectivity
Connect everything. In addition to USB-C MIDI, MIDI DIN, Sync I/O and pedal input, KeyStep mk2 has 4 CV outputs – pitch, gate, mod 1 and mod 2 – which are configurable for stop dynamics, aftertouch, modulation wheel and other functions, and modular hardware with expressive precision control.
Hands-on control
