Double jacks are not really a revolution in the world of effect but RockBoard has added something extra, so to speak. The separator rings of the new RockBoard connectors are only 10mm long and could well make these connectors the smallest in the world. Before that, it had never been possible to connect two pedals so close to each other on a pedalboard; Thus saving considerable space. Using the Z-connector instead of the jumper cables cleaned up and compacted my pedalboard quite a bit. One thing to pay attention is the height difference between the sockets of the pedals. If they have a large difference, one of the pedals would not touch the floor :)
