The Mirage JR is a compact reverb powerhouse that delivers all the creative range of its big sibling in a streamlined, single-engine mono format. It offers the same studio grade processing, intuitive layout, and algorithm selection. Built for guitarists, bassists, synth players, and ambient creators who want maximum sound without complexity. Whether you’re chasing vintage plate tones, cinematic shimmer, or frozen walls of reverb, Mirage JR brings it all together in one expressive unit. The reverb engine runs any of 16 carefully cra‘ed algorithms, organized into two banks. The Outer Bank focuses on natural, familiar spaces: Plate, Spring, Cathedral, Room, Gated, and the mythical Inchindown oil tank impulse (the longest recorded natural reverb). These are ideal for players chasing classic studio textures and real-world acoustics. The Inner Bank dives into modern, ambient territory, including multiple shimmer configurations (up, down, blended, and pitch-shifted), rich modulation-based reverbs, or infinite sustain. Four dedicated knobs put real time sound shaping at your fingertips: Mix, Volume, Swell, and Excite. Swell typically controls decay or size, while Excite is algorithm dependent controlling shimmer balance, modulation depth, tone, or pitch layer volume depending on the effect. A Shift push switch toggles between algorithm banks, while a Voice selector quickly loads any algorithm without screen diving or menu scrolling. Each algorithm responds with its own range of decay, tone, and wet level, so users are encouraged to fine tune parameters when switching between voices. In addition to the left bypass/engage footswitch, Mirage JR features a dedicated right XF footswitch, which momentarily ramps up the assigned control (Swell or Excite) while held and then smoothly returns it to its set position when released. This enables powerful real time interactions, from shimmer bursts and freeze triggers to evolving modulated textures, without needing to adjust any knobs mid performance. Mirage JR also includes an expression pedal input that brings powerful real time control to your reverb textures. Via an internal switch, you can select whether the expression pedal will control the Swell or Excite parameter, giving you smooth, dynamic command over decay, shimmer blend, modulation depth, pitch layers, or tone depending on the selected algorithm. In combination with the XF footswitch this allows for expressive swells, ambient builds, shimmer rises, gated stabs, or subtle movement within a patch. The back panel of Mirage JR offers practical setup options to suit any rig. Internal switches let you choose between true bypass or buffered trails, allowing you to either fully remove the pedal from your signal path or let reverb tails decay naturally after bypass. The Kill Dry function mutes the dry signal completely when the Mix knob is all the way up, essential when using Mirage JR in parallel effects loops or as a send effect in a studio or live console environment. A boot state memory feature ensures that Mirage JR powers on in the same state (active or bypassed), streamlining integration into pedalboards, loopers, or complex performance setups. Despite its compact footprint, Mirage JR offers massive sonic depth with zero friction. There are no screens, no menus, just direct access to studio grade reverb in a creative, performance-ready layout. Use it at the front of your pedalboard, after your gain pedals, in a loop switcher, or on a synth chain. It’s as simple or deep as you want it to be and always inspiring. Whether you're using it with guitars, synths, or in the studio, Mirage JR gives you plenty to show off, visually, sonically, and practically. It shines as a mono front end spatial effect, but it’s equally at home in pedal switchers, synth setups, or even as a send effect in the studio, bringing the magic of the original Mirage to any rig.
