The PREMIER PRE-573 is a vintage-style single-channel microphone, line and instrument preamplifier. The signal path only uses discrete components such as resistors, capacitors and transistors. The microphone and line input as well as the line output are transformer balanced, using two different transformers, each optimized for their purpose.

- - Input and output transformer from Carnhill in Great Britain
- - Control of a 600 ohm load up to a level of around 28 dBu
- - Total gain range from -10 to +80 dB.
- - Microphone input switchable 1200 or 300 ohms
- - Line level input switch: lower the level by 30 dB, increase the input impedance to 10 kOhm
- - Two-stage 6 dB/octave high-pass filter
- - Insert socket for inserting equalizers and effects devices from the Golden Age Project and Premier 500 series
