A Merit Series Power Conditioner is the perfect low-cost AC power solution for any rack mount system. Install an M-10Lx E in to the top slot of your rack and the 10 switched outlets in the rear panel will power up and protect all your equipment up to a 10A load. It not only protects anything plugged into it from spikes and surges, but also has a built in AC noise filter to rid the system of RFI / EMI interference. The M-10Lx E also features two slide out, swiveling light fixtures to provide discreet illumination of your equipment. A dimmer knob allows the user to adjust the level of illumination.

Ob der Netzfilter im Ernstfall wirklich etwas macht, kann nicht nicht sagen. Aber es gibt mir ein gutes Gefühl, zu wissen, dass zwischen dem Blitzeinschlag und dem teuren Equipment eine Schutzkomponente installiert ist. Ganz abgesehen davon ist der Furman ein sehr praktischer Stromverteiler für's Rack mit frontseitigem Hauptschalter. So oder so also sehr nützlich.

Das Teil wird als 'Power Conditioner' angepriesen, ist aber kaum mehr als eine Steckerleiste im 19' Format. Wer sich getraut das Gerät aufzuschrauben erwartet eine grosse Enttäuschung. Das Gehäuse ist bis auf eine 10x10 cm grosse Platine mit sehr wenigen Bauteilen LEER. Zudem Wackeln die Steckerbuchsen im Gehäuse. Lasst euch nicht täuschen dieses Gerät KANN NICHT MEHR ALS EINE STECKERLEISTE MIT ÜBERSPANNUNGSSCHUTZ. Das Gehäuse ist ok und das Gerät ist praktisch da man so seine Steckerleiste im Rack verschrauben kann. Preis/Leistung ist jedoch bei über 100.- wirklich schlecht.

Cet article est arrivé chez moi deux jours après mon payement. Merci pour la rapidité. J'utilise cet élément pour mettre sous- et hors tension tout mon home cinéma. Préampli AV, deux ampli finaux, 4 monitors actifs et 2 lecteurs....pas un 'craquement' dans les enceintes ! Pour moi une bonne solution.
