Due to the high magnetic effect of the cobalt on the pickups, these strings sound more aggressive and
harder than nickel strings. The strings feel a little rougher than nickel strings and deliver a clear,
defined tone with high output. Since cobalt is more robust than nickel, cobalt strings are more durable
than conventional strings.

Nice experiment there, a hybrid between a round and a flatwound string. The sound is really something particular. Best played on classic basses, such as P's or Hofner violin.
