Due to the high magnetic effect of the cobalt on the pickups, these strings sound more aggressive and
harder than nickel strings. The strings feel a little rougher than nickel strings and deliver a clear,
defined tone with high output. Since cobalt is more robust than nickel, cobalt strings are more durable
than conventional strings.

These are some very nice strings. The feel is different from steel/inox strings, they are much more flexible. This makes for easy playing and smooth moving over the fretboard. Cobalt itself is harder as steel & inox and that can be felt on the fingers. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once that's done, these are very nice to play with. The sound is very raw, they have allot of midtones to them. All in all they are great stings. The sole disadvantage is that they tend to use the frets quicker, due to cobalt being harder. Depending on how much you play and on what bass you have, this may or may not be problematic.
