Very satisfied with the tone and bending characteristics. These have become my standard strings on all my Telecasters, and I've been using them for over a year. As the name "Balanced Tension" suggests, the difference in thickness between the 2nd and 4th strings (i.e., in the higher range) is more balanced compared to EXL120 (9-42) and EXL125 (9-46). The higher strings are thinner than the other two, which is very beneficial for bending.
