Reference-class, semi-open studio headphone

Reference-class, semi-open studio headphone The DT 880 PRO combines all strengths of open, transparent headphones with those of more powerful, closed headphones. Specially designed housings and an improved system equalisation turn this "remake" of the studio classic DT 880 into an ideal studio monitoring headphone, with analytical qualities. The complete sound spectrum is reproduced in detail from a well defined sub bass to the highest highs. Soft ear pads and adjustable, sliding, earpieces together with a single sided connecting cable ensure listening comfort during extended periods of use. Of course, the semi-open DT 880 PRO is manufactured in Germany. - Semi-open studio headphone - Analytical qualities - Soft ear pads and and adjustable, sliding earpieces for highest comfort - Single sided cable

These headphones sound very good and natural. They only lack some beef in the low end, which I addressed with a headphone calibration software by Sonarworks. On the downside, they don't feel very sturdy. Beyerdynamic mixed metal with cheap plastic. Also they don't have a detachable cable and cannot be taken with you easily.
