If you know how to krank your stuff and on a budget..then this is the one..otherwise feel free to buy expensive stuff and take the help from it..
There seems to be quite a bit of snobbery out there about Behringer pedals given their low prices, mass scale production (in China) and plastic casings. Many guitarists wouldn't be seen dead with one on their effects boards, even though Behringer these days produce the bucket-brigade chips that power their expensive boutique boxes and are functionally and often (in the case of the analogue boxes) sonically identical to more expensive offerings. (Josh Scott of JHS pedals does a great YouTube vid on this.) Indeed, there are some amazing Behringer bargains - their vibrato, EQ and super fuzz pedals stand out as easily good enough for stage performance or recording. Unfortunately, this octave pedal is not a bargain even at a low price as it just doesn't sound good. I'm not a big octave pedal user, but I found it hard to coax a decent sound out of it even with a fuzz pedal. I'd give this one a miss.
