TC Electronic is a Danish company that specializes in professional audio processing and effects equipment. They are known for their guitar and bass effects pedals, audio interfaces, signal processors, and digital effects processors. Their products are used by musicians, recording engineers, and audio professionals for high-quality sound processing and effects.

As far as versatile and ubiquitous effects go, an overdrive emulating a pushed tube amp is number one. El Mocambo will fatten up your tone with some extra girth around the waist, giving you that highly sought-after mid-range "oomph" that cuts through the mix when your band is pushing decibels. This particular gritty mid-range honk gives the guitar a certain vocal quality that is ideal for a singing blues solo but also works formidably in a hard rock setting as a lead boost on top of an already overdriven sound. Crank up and testify!

Sehr schön und differenziert klingender Overdrive. Auch den El Mocambo hab ich, genau wie den TC Electronic Zeuss Overdrive für meine Parlor Gitarren mit Schallloch Tonabnehmer. Auf einem cleanen Amp kommt der El Mocambo wunderbar zur Geltung, das Gain ganz sanft offen, bis ca. 9 Uhr, und der Sound haut mich einfach vom Hocker. Klar ist eine solche Bewertung immer sehr Geschmacksache.... Aber es lohnt sich solche 'Perlen' zu testen, vor allem in Anbetracht des mehr als günstigen Preises.
