In order to get the best sound out of the maple shells, Pearl decided to use the OpticLoc tom holder system, which ensures optimal resonance of the shells, because this has only minimal contact with the shells and at the same time gives the shells a stable hold. Because the lugs are small and light, optimal resonance is further enhanced. The Pearl DMP925S / C261 Decade Maple Gloss Deep Red Burst drum kit comes with the HWP-830 hardware package, which consists of a snare drum, hi-hat and two cymbal stands. A P-930 Demonator foot pedal is also included. The tripods, which come from the 830 series, are double-legged and thus offer a stable base for the cymbals and snare.
