Pan Volkslieder aus Skandinavien Ingo Frankhauser

The folklore of the Scandinavian countries is enjoying increasing popularity. Ingo Fankhauser has presented nine arrangements of folk songs from Denmark, Sweden and Norway in his collection. The different characters of the melodies are skillfully worked out through their varied interpretation: in addition to the melody accompanied by a chordal movement, in another piece there are imitations of the song by all voices, in another piece there is a kind of conversation between the instruments involved. The 4- to 5-part movements are very suitable for ensemble playing not only with recorders (Snino / S / A / T / B). They are also suitable for a mixed line-up with melody instruments of the respective vocal range.
