The small village of Mirkwood lies on the rugged plateau of the Hunsrück. For some time now, the village has been plagued by werewolves every night. Every night a crime occurs and a villager falls victim to the werewolves. The villagers are trying to figure out which of them are werewolves before they all disappear. Each player is dealt a face down card that determines their identity. So he's a werewolf or a villager. Under the direction of the game master, everyone plays their role. As a werewolf, the player tries to eat a villager every night. By day he is an honorable citizen. As a villager, the player tries to discover the werewolves and convince the other players to render them harmless. Not an easy task. Luckily there are a few villagers with special abilities. They will be helpful in defeating the werewolves.
