The KRK subwoofer models S8.4, S10.4 and S12.4 are based on the manufacturer's decades of experience in the areas of precise sound reproduction and performance, and deliver tight, accurate and defined bass. The highly efficient CLASS D power amplifiers provide dramatically improved transient response, control and punch. Thanks to the large variety of connections on the back, the subwoofers can be easily integrated into almost any setup without having to deal with countless adapters. The integrated crossover can be easily adjusted to four levels using a rotary control in order to optimally tune the subwoofer to work with existing monitors. The numerous improvements that the latest generation of KRK subwoofers bring with them include a slightly expanded bass range, redesigned bass reflex channels for better phase fidelity, less background noise and a more stable, inverted dust protection cap. The completely redesigned speaker housings have a lower height and depth than their predecessors, which makes them much easier and more flexible to position in the room. In addition, the new, timeless design also exudes a particularly professional aesthetic. The clever Bypass Control function enables full-range audio playback on your monitors by simply pressing an (optionally available) foot switch without having to leave the monitors' sweet spot to deactivate the subwoofer.
