The authentic and ancestral Alsatian pasta know-how was passed on from generation to generation. To date, there are only three Alsatian pasta makers left.

In early '30s, founder Robert Heimburger started his small bakery, with bread, pastries and egg pasta. This was the start of a great journey of bringing original, high-quality Alsatian pasta in people's homes.

In contrast to the Italian pasta, the nobility of the Alsatian recipe consists of "7 fresh eggs per kilo of superior durum wheat flour," so no water, but more fresh eggs.

The Heimburger company respects to this day, with care, this recipe with fresh eggs. Moreover, only free-range eggs are used, and that means the hens are not caged and stressed, but enjoy the outdoors and sunlight.

Even after four generations, the Heimburger's mission hasn't changed: respect for nature, respect for consumers, and that can be seen in their entire process of creating this noble pasta.
