With three-way switches for the amplifier characteristics, gain structure and simulation of speaker microphones, the modified circuit of the Pocket Amp MK 2 enables authentic vintage and modern sounds as well as your own sound creations. Extremely powerful operational amplifiers achieve extremely low noise levels. Master controls for clipping level and output level plus a 2-band EQ tailored specifically to the guitar ensure flexible, precise sound tuning. In addition to the balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm jack output, the die-cast aluminum housing, which is absolutely suitable for the stage, is equipped with an AUX input and headphone jack in 3.5 mm mini jack format. This makes the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 not only the ideal tool for direct recording, it can also be used as a practice amplifier, overdrive or distortion pedal and DI box. With a PA and monitor system it can even replace the stage amp. The Pocket Amp MK 2 requires a 9-volt block battery or a mains adapter for power supply, e.g. Palmer PW9V.
