This is a good, solid wall mount, and it holds most guitars securely (not so good for models with a narrow or one-sided headstock, e.g.Telecasters). HOWEVER, the supporting surfaces are NOT covered in cork! The material may look like cork from a distance and it may even have real cork particles in it, but it is actually a plastic composite - certainly more plastic than cork. To simply call it 'cork' is misleading. Nevertheless, K&M claim that this material shouldn't damage the finish of your guitar, so let's hope they're right! Another minus point is the fact that there are no mounting screws supplied. However, I would still buy this wall mount again. I already own three of them and I've had no trouble with them up to now. They're certainly better designed than some others I've seen.
